Spring 25' Session
(January 6th- June 6th 2025)
*Students must enroll in all classes required per level we do not offer modified schedules, please do not inquire about modified schedules. We dont enroll dancers two weeks after registration closes. Private lessons are available as a great alternative!
"Spring Showcase" Performance / Rehearsal / Costume Fee-
Levels Pre-Ballet / Level 1 fees are $125 and is included in tuition when registering.
Levels 1A- 2B fees are $250 and is included in tuition when registering.

Conservatory uniforms are to be purchased from the MCD Ballet Shop. The link is under " More".
Classes and curriculum at MCD are based on a 9 month academic school schedule from August - June. With advancement Summer program classes in late June /July. Students can spend anywhere from 1-3 years in a level.
MCD does not refund tuition; please email for a trial class if you are unsure about level placement.
WE FOLLOW INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC GUIDANCE OF THE HEALTH OFFICER OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN FOR GYMS AND FITNESS STUDIOS ( including dance studios)
MCD closes enrollment for classes 2 weeks after the start date of each semester.
Children's Program
MCD will be performing our annual " Spring Showcase" on June 1st 2025, at the "Novato High School Performing Arts Center".
There are Saturday rehearsal for the Youth Program, rehearsals will be held on Saturdays, dates will be emailed and are posted on our "Rehearsal / Performance" page. Children's Program rehearse the last 15 minutes of class for the " Spring Showcase and a few Saturdays"

MCD Tuition Policy
Tuition is non-refundable. Tuition is not refunded for missed classes or rehearsals or unforeseen circumstances. Only if a level is cancelled due to low enrollment, will you be given a refund of tuition and performance fees. If there is an option for another day in the same level we will automatically enroll the dancer into that class and not issue a refund. In very unusual circumstances the Director "may" issue a credit that must be used for the following session. If the credit is not used in the following session the credit will be invalid. MCD’s tuition commitment is for both the Fall and Spring semesters. Tuition is not transferable to private coaching lessons.
Youth Program
MCD will be performing "Spring Showcase" on June 1st at Novato High School Performing Arts Center.
There are Saturdays rehearsals in the Spring for the Youth Program Levels 2B-6, all other rehearsals will be held in class during the last 15 minutes. Rehearsal Schedule is emailed and on the Rehearsal / Performance Page .

Level 4 Includes: Ballet 3xs a week - three 90 minute classes; Pointe 3x a week - three 60 minute classes. 1 hour Contemporary class

Rehearsal/ Performance Fee - These fees cover the costs for rehearsals scheduled outside of the regular class schedule. These rehearsals occur on the weekends and will be posted on the Rehearsal/Performance Page, and the link provided below. Rehearsals allow the students and teacher to focus solely on choreography for the performance. The Rehearsal/Performance Fee is automatically added to tuition when enrolling online.
Performance Policy - Students must be enrolled in Levels 1-6 to participate in the end-of-session performances. Please refer to the Youth Policies drop down tab for important detailed information.
Costume Rental Fee- is included in tuition fees.
